The actual lasting period of double eyelid surgery differs to each individual but can be estimated around 10~20 years. This is deeply related to the ageing of the skin, especially if done with the buried method that does not involve incision, the probability of unravelling is higher if the eyelid shows high presence of fat or have thick eyelids.

 

Q. Double eyelid revision surgery, should I do it?

Double eyelid surgery when compared to other plastic surgery has lower cost, due to this, it is perceived as an easy procedure. For that reason, many individuals tend to do surgery without considering many factors such as hospitals, doctors and individual’s face. Nonetheless double eyelid surgery, like any other plastic surgery also has to be done by considering the many different aesthetics, thus have to be checked thoroughly.
